Safety Comes First for Ready Mix Drivers
Our first and foremost requirement for ready mix drivers is a safety-minded attitude and a focus on quality customer service. Safety is of the utmost importance at Shelby, and one of our main objectives for the company is that all employees return home safe and healthy at the end of the workday.
Professional driving experience isn’t a requirement for applicants, as we provide an in-house orientation program pairing you with an experienced senior-level driver during your training period. To ensure continued safety for our drivers, job applicants should be at least 19 years old, have a valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement, as well as a clean driving record with no DUI/DWI/OWI in the last 5 years.
