Project Description
The new Shelbyville, Indiana hospital will be a 305,000-square-foot facility that will connect to the Benesee Oncology Center. There will be 56 single-occupant inpatient rooms for shorter stays, 56 physicians and 934 employees. In addition, there will be 38 outpatient observation beds and expanded surgery with four operating rooms.
The project cost is slated at $89 million, with $68 million going to the construction budget. Project completion date is August 2016.
