Project Description

Walker Parking Consultants provided functional design/consulting and structural engineering for this 1,236 space 6-level cast-in-place concrete parking structure. Walker also provided structural engineering for an attached 150′steel truss pedestrian bridge and retrofitted 2-story lobby in the existing OneAmerica tower. The OneAmerica Parking Garage provides additional parking to downtown Indianapolis. This garage allowed foOne America r urban development to replace the existing surface lots. The employee parkers who use this facility are able to embrace the flat floor and express ramp experience. The garage also supports special event parking on nights and weekends.

F.A. Wilhelm Construction served as general contractor with the developer, Flaherty and Collins, in constructing this six level, 1,237-car, post-tensioned parking structure. Wilhelm Construction self-performed the concrete.
