Rising above the ashes of the former Citizens Energy coke site at 2950 Prospect Street is the new 140-acre Indianapolis – Marion County Community Justice Campus. The modern campus weaves together judicial, law enforcement and punitive functions into one cohesive expression. Situated in the Twin Aire neighborhood, the Community Justice Campus broke ground in 2018 with expec
ted completion in 2022. It will bring together community partners dedicated to a modern, holistic, data-driven approach to the Indianapolis justice system.
The campus features an Assessment and Intervention Center, a mental health and addiction treatment center addressing critical root causes of detention and recidivism, an Adult Detention Center, the Sheriff’s Office, the Marion County Courthouse, and office buildings, along with other elements that will strengthen and reimagined Indianapolis criminal justice system. The project features both traditional and contemporary architecture and includes 60,000 yards of ready mix concrete. We are proud to work alongside FA Wilhelm on this project.
